Working on getting used to some new Photoshop watercolor brushes. Still playing around with them. Can you tell if it's really watercolor or not?

I haven't had much time lately for reading, but I managed to scrape together enough of that precious commodity to read a great book about how to raise children that aren't picky eaters. I don't have kids yet, but I learned some great rules for helping kids and adults have a normal and healthy relationship with food! Great stuff. It even inspired me to do a little illustration. I sent it to the author and received back a very wonderful email from her! Also, I have a new set of watercolor brushes in Photoshop that I used on this one. Still experimenting and building new brushes on my own as well. Photoshop is a deep, DEEP, program. Just still dipping in my toe! Check out Karen's blog here: http://karenlebillon.com/
Just a quick little photoshop doodle done for my husband for the Allen County Library FB page! Experimenting with more of those photoshop brushes!
Every once in a while, I get to work on some exciting pro bono jobs. One came along this spring that was indeed, alot of fun! I got to illustrate a program cover for the Snowflake Charity Ball in Gatineau, Quebec.
Here's my contribution for my Skillshare online class. I've been watching a lot of Star Trek lately on Netflix, and I was reminded of how we all dream as children of some grand adventure. I'm guessing Buzz and Neil probably looked up at the moon as children and dreamed about it.
